Warwick has extensive experience at both legal and commercial levels with particular emphasis in commercial resolution of complicated matrimonial and family law matters. Warwick has acted in corporate and trust restructures, advised on Directors' liabilities and duties and has provided legal advice on insolvency and restructuring. He does much of his own appearance work. He has lectured extensively, is a qualified mediator and is highly regarded as one of the leading family lawyers in the country.
Personal Information
Warwick is a keen Masters rower at National and International level and tennis player. He has been a board member and chairman of a number of charitable, sporting and service organizations and enjoys cycling, reading and travelling. He is Captain in the Royal Australian Navy Reserve and has visited the Antarctic on two occasions as a Member of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions. He is a member of the Order of Australia (1989) and has been an Honorary Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Victoria since 1982.
Professional Memberships
Warwick is a member of the Law Council of Australia, and has been a member of the Law Institute of Victoria Family Law Executive and the Courts Practice Committee. He was for many years a Tribunal member of the Federal Costs Advisory Committee (Legal Fees Tribunal) and a Sessional member of Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal from 1998 to 2003.
